2/26/23 - First Sunday in Lent

As we begin the Lenten season, we follow Jesus into the desert as He battles Satan's tempations. He did so to win back what we lost when Adam fell into sin and more! His victory reverses the guilt of our sins and grants us an eternal future in His presence! And it's in His victory that we find the strength to battle the devil's temptations and accusations in our own lives. Pastor's sermon, "Trust in Christ's Turnaround Grace" is based on Romans 5:12-19.

2/23/23 - Ash Wednesday

Tonight, we witness our Lord and Savior return to His Father's house to cleanse and restore the temple to its true purpose. As we mark the beginning of Lent, we look for the Savior to cleanse and restore our hearts with the forgiveness of our sins and the assurance of our eternal healing in His cross. Pastor's sermon, "His Final Steps Led Him to His Father's House" is based on Matthew 21:12-17.

2/19/23 - Transfiguration

It is good for us to be here! Before Jesus suffered as our substitute, He appeared in glory as the Son of God. In the face of suffering and doubt, we have the assurance of the apostles' eyewitness testimony and the word of the prophets confirmed, that the God of Mt. Sinai became a man to suffer and die for us. Pastor's sermon, "Rest in Christ's Transfiguration Glory" is based on 2 Peter 1:16-21. God bless your worship!

2/12/23 - 6th Sun. after Epiphany

Jesus came to free us from sin; He did not free us to sin. God is holy; and He expects us to be holy also. As Jesus lays out God's expectations of holiness, we despair of ourselves and our own authority, and place ourselves under Christ. Becuase He gives us hope in His grace and forgiveness. Pastor's sermon, "Look to Jesus' Authority Alone" is based on Matthew 5:21-37. God bless your worship!

2/5/23 - 5th Sun. after Epiphany

Who am I? Why am I here? The answers to these questions shape our lives here on earth. Jesus answers these questions with two fascinating metaphors. Called by God's grace, we are "the salt of the earth" and "the light of the world." Our live reflect our gracious calling in Christ so that we can be blessings to all. Pastor's sermon, "Be Who You Are in Christ" is based on Matthew 5:13-16.

1/29/23 - 4th Sun. after Epiphany

Instead of boasting in ourselves, which leads to further division among God's people, God's Word encourages us to boast in the Lord and in His grace which He has poured out on us in Jesus Christ. Pastor's sermon, "United We Stand--Boasting in the Lord's Grace," is based on 1 Corinthians 1:26-31.

1/22/23 - 3rd Sun. after Epiphany

Jesus appears—as the Light of the world. In the dark places covered by the shadows of sin and unbelief the light of Jesus shines! His light shines forth in the preaching of repentance and in the good news of His kingdom. He invites us to follow Him with our lives illumined by Him, living in the joy of freedom and the unity we enjoy in His name. Pastor's sermon, "United We Stand--In the Name of Jesus Christ" is based on 1 Corinthians 1:10-17.
