Hail the King who humbly comes to save us. The time of Christ's glory has come, but it will be a glory found in humility as Jesus humbles Himself to save us. Ultimately, He is exalted as the One whose lowly obedience has saved humanity from sin and death. We see this humility and lowly obedience in Jesus' choice of animal to ride into Jerusalem. The account of Jesus healing a man born blind reveals many of our own blind spots as sinful human beings--our blindness to God, to ourselves, and to each other.
