9/26/21 - 18th Sun. after Pentecost

Our highest ambition is to follow Christ, imitating His love. The greatest must serve the least. And those who proclaim the Word of the Lord entrust themselves and their message into the Lord's hand. Pastor's sermon, "Things to Know About the Enemies of God's Word" is based on Jeremiah 11:18-20.

9/19/21 - 17th Sun. after Pentecost

Faith is not just a matter of the head, but of the heart. Too often we silo our faith into just one tiny corner of our lives, instead of letting our faith in Christ rule over our entire lives. How can we believe in a Savior who selflessly loves and dies for all people equally, while we continue to show the self-promoting kind of favoritism that shuns those in need? Pastor's sermon, "God's Love Is a Love Without Prejudice," is based on James 2:1-5,8-10,14-18.

9/12/21 - 16th Sun. after Pentecost

Given the misery and need that we encounter in this world, one might wonder whether God even cares about us. Yet through His Word, we receive ears to hear and eyes to see the love that God has lavished on us through His Son Jesus Christ. So, we strive to bring them to the Savior to open their eyes and ears. Pastor's sermon, "Bring Them to the Living Word of God" is based on Mark 7:31-37.

9/5/21 - 15th Sun. after Pentecost

Real obedience to God begins in the heart. Evil and wickedness don’t start from outside of us, they begin in our own heart. Instead of adding a bunch of man-made rules to God’s Word in order to avoid sinning, we put on the armor of God who delivers us from evil through His death and resurrection. Pastor's sermon, "How to Guard the Wicked Heart," is based on Mark 7:1-8,14-15,21-23.

8/29/21 - 14th Sun. after Pentecost

Serving the Lord is a choice that believers in Christ make every day. May we be willing to let go of our idols and serve the Lord--for He is OUR God. Pastor's sermon, "As For Me and My House, We Will Serve the Lord," is based on Joshua 24:1-2a,14-18.

8/22/21 - 13th Sun. after Pentecost

We find ourselves living in evil days, as past generations of Christians have done. But now is not the time to lose hope. Now is the time to especially seek God's wisdom and grace. Pastor's sermon, "Live the Divinely Circumspect Life" is based on Ephesians 5:15-20.

8/15/21 - 12th Sun. after Pentecost

So often we grumble at our Lord when it seems like He's not giving us what we hunger for; but the Father puts an end to our grumbling and our hunger when He draws us to Jesus Christ in faith. For Jesus, the living bread from heaven, gives us the ultimate answer to every hunger: life everlasting. Pastor's sermon, "The Living Bread from Heaven Gives Us Life," is based on John 6:41-51.
